The Sad Ponies

Rescued from
Bourbon County
and delivered into
square pens on Hwy. 25.

The grass here is
as good as any grass.

One keeps to himself
near the road,
watching passing trucks,
waiting.

When it rains the rest
find cover,
but the one sad pony
stands by himself.

The grass here is
as good as any grass.
